We are seeking a Cert III carpenter with commercial carpentry experience.

The positions available will be required to seamlessly integrate into projects that are already underway. That being said, if your background is residential carpentry and you are looking for a change, please feel free to reach out and speak with us as this could still be an option for those with the right fundamental skills.

The works consist of the following:

• Grid ceilings

• Suspended ceiling framing

• Feature ceilings

• Partition framing

• Aluminium internal partitions

• Aluminium door frames

• Fire doors and pressed metal door frames

• Doors and hardware

We are seeking individuals who either have experience in the work mentioned above or the initiative and readiness to learn.

Details

$35–$45 per hour (plus 10% super and $30 per day travel allowance)

• 4 weeks of annual leave per year

• 2 weeks sick leave

• ACT public holidays

• RDO’s

Hourly rate is to be negotiated. This will be determined by knowledge and experience of commercial carpentry and overall time in the industry.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is someone with a positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment. This person should be adaptable, enthusiastic, and ready to take guidance from our Leading Hands and Directors. The candidate should also be able to demonstrate perseverance as our larger projects can take upwards of 6 months to complete.
Successful candidates must have:

• Current Drivers’ Licence

• Australian citizenship

• General Construction Induction Card (White Card)

• Asbestos Awareness Card

It would be desirable, but not essential, if the candidate also has: 

• Operate EWP (Scissor) ticket

• A collection of their own tools
